Hands-On Training – Birth Doula Training

Below are the skills that form a critical part of the Birth Doula Training course. Given the delays that COVID is creating with us being able to meet in person, we’re offering several ways to accomplish this hands-on component of training so that you can continue your journey towards becoming a certified doula.

Option 1 – Work with a currently certified DONA Birth Doula or Certified Childbirth Educator who can teach you these skills. This doula/educator will then notify me of completion and I will provide THEM with a certificate for 3 Contact Hours they can use for recertification, and I will provide YOU with a certificate of completion of this portion of your training.

Option 2 – Work with a partner and make a video of you performing all of these skills and send me the video to demonstrate the acquired knowledge.

Option 3 – Get a partner and attend one of my hands-on online trainings (which now qualify for completion of this component of training).

Dates:

July 7: 2-5pm

July 27: 9am-12pm

August 23: 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm

September 5 in Kingston or online: 1:30pm-4:30pm

Space is limited so please book to reserve your spot.
