Congratulations on your interest in becoming a birth doula! You will soon experience the amazing joy of the special impact you will have on families in your area.
This training will take place LIVE and IN-PERSON at Penrith Regional Gallery at 86 River Rd, Emu Plains NSW, Australia.
Ideally situated between Sydney and the Blue Mountains, take advantage of this rare opportunity to do a DONA International training in-person.
Our training takes place:
April 27-30, 2023
Class schedule runs as follows*:
Thursday, April 27th – 9am-5pm
Friday, April 28th – 9am-5pm
Saturday, April 29th – 9am-4pm – with a tour of the birth centre at Nepean Hospital to follow 4:30-5pm
Sunday, April 30th – 9am-4pm
And an optional virtual live breastfeeding training on May 6th from 9am-12:30pm.
The cost is $1500 CAD (approx equal conversion to AUD). Save $250 until March 10th when you pay in full!

You will be given all the necessary tools to begin your journey towards becoming a certified doula through DONA International. We will continue to support you on this journey as you have questions or need additional support.
This training includes ALL in-class requirements for certification:

CO-TRAINER – ZOE ELKINGTON
Born and raised in the Blue Mountains, Zoe Elkington is an Australian doula and perinatal photographer.
Studying under mentor/trainer Stefanie Antunes at the Doula School as both a birth and postpartum doula, Zoe has since worked with Discover Birth agency in Toronto and launched her own thriving baby business, Milk & Blossom. Known internationally for her writing and photography, Zoe has also spent the past two years writing for several online publications, and developing a new contraction timer app for birth launching mid-2023.
As one of Sydney’s most up-and-coming doulas, Zoe brings her passion for evidence-based support as cohost for this exclusive training event to equip new doulas ready to begin a successful career in birthwork.
Zoe is currently based in Sydney, and is thrilled to embark on her own birth journey with the support of her fiancé and doula later this year.

Cancellation policy: Refunds are available 60 days or more before workshop start date minus a $200 handling fee. No refunds will be made within 45 days of the workshop, however registrants may apply the fee towards a future workshop held by Doula School. Cancellations within one week of class must pay a $100 administration fee to rebook and apply fee towards another workshop. NO EXCEPTIONS.
