We’re excited to be brining a TENS for doulas training to the doula community!
TENS machines have been shown to help reduce pain in labour and are a useful tool for doulas to have in their labour goodie bag. But how do you know you’re using it correctly? How do you know when and how to use it? Our half-day session will explore this and more!

2023 Training Dates – all classes are LIVE VIRTUAL via Zoom

June 21, 2023 – 6:30pm-9pm Eastern Time
For the course you will need your own TENS device and another person to practice on for the last hour approximately.
Times of the course are Eastern Time Zone, though we’ll have people from all over the world in attendance!
To join us virtually you MUST possess your own TENS unit and have another human to practice on. Please feel free to contact us to discuss devices, where to procure, which one might work best for you, etc.
Price: $75 regular rate, early bird rate of $65 until 4 weeks before the start date.

- Describe how TENS provides relief in Labour
- Explain the benefits of TENS in labour.
- List reasons not to use a TENS.
- Feel confident in using various machines with clients.
- Explain the importance of proper cleaning and maintenance.
- Explain how a doula can use TENS with clients while staying in scope.
